Mary
Beth Averill, LICSW, Ph.D., is a writing coach and life coach
in private practice in Northampton, Massachusetts, and is the
founder/owner of Write On MBA.

Background
With a doctorate in Biology from the University of Oregon, Mary Beth
has been an academic writer since the late 1960s. Currently,
in addition to her coaching practice,
she is a consultant with the
Smith
College School for Social Work as an adjunct Assistant Professor,
doing research advising, serving on the Human Subjects Review Committee,
and teaching Writing for Professional Publication and Research
Methods to social work Masters

As
a Writer and Writing Coach
Dr. Averill has shepherded over one hundred social work students
through the thesis or dissertation process. She has also worked
with graduates, undergraduates, and faculty members in the sciences,
linguistics, economics, business, English, and other subject areas.
Mary Beth has provided consultation to nonfiction book authors,
memoirists, journalists, song writers, screen writers, and magazine
writers. She has written a dissertation in biology, a social work
thesis, science and social science academic articles and book reviews,
and has coauthored a book chapter.

As a Life Coach
Dr. Averill provides life coaching for people
who want to enjoy more fulfillment, more balance and more time
in their lives. She will help you to determine what really matters
to you and to devise a plan to achieve your goals. Clarifying,
learning, accountability, action, change, and acknowledging success
are some of the highlights of life coaching.
